Computer Skills – Kickstart

Without computer skills, you may feel locked out of jobs, experiences and even chatting to friends and family. We want to support you to feel comfortable using computers and IT for whatever you need.

What is Kickstart?

Kickstart is a basic computer skills course designed for adults who don’t have experience using a computer. Our friendly instructor starts at the beginning to understand where you are and what matters to you. You will go through the most popular technologies used at home and at work and understand how to use them in your life going forward.

In Kickstart, you learn:

  • How to create, save and manage documents
  • How to browse the internet
  • Open and use an email account
  • How to join and interact on video calls

The course runs three times a year on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5 weeks.
